City vs Spurs Pre-match Analysis
Posted on January 21, 2017
Well, now, Pep Guardiola might have realized how difficult Premier league is compared to La liga and Bundes liga. With his team defeated by Everton with four nil in last game, he might have known he needed to create something different in order to win. His team is in the 5th position of premier league table with Chelsea at the top with ten points clear to city and its looking impossible for his team to win the title. However, if he could not get his team to winning track in coming fixtures, then their might be no hope for UEFA champions league for them next year. Top four spot seems to be do or die. So, Guardiola must come with something new.
Their next game is with Spurs, the team that stopped city from back to back win in the league and also the team that stopped Chelsea winning form in league. In their last game, Spurs stunt City by 2-0. So, its a chance for city to take a revenge but it is not an easy task.

“Strong physically, good build-up, quality between the lines. They have great full-backs with [Danny] Rose and [Kyle] Walker.
“It’s a real good team – they play attractive football.”
Mauricio Pochettino –
“I know Pep Guardiola very well, he’s a great manager, one of the best.
“When you arrive at a new club you need to adapt your values to a new culture, and it’s difficult, but I don’t change my opinion of him.
“I am not someone who judges other people. The expectation was massive when Guardiola signed.
“People thought he would win the Premier League after 10 games. That’s impossible. But I have no doubt that with time he will be a success.”
